Franco Colapinto was asked about the World Cup final at the FIA press conference ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix, days after Spain beat Argentina. He was seated alongside Spaniards Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso. He accepted the result, calling Spain "clearly the deserved winners", then criticised footage of fans trying to burn a Lionel Messi shirt. "Just to see them burning a shirt of Messi and these kinds of things," Colapinto said. "Luckily, it didn't burn, the shirt of God doesn't burn."
